Odin wielding Gramr against Hjalmgunnar

Gram was a heavy weapon inspired by the mythical realm of Svartálfaheimr and rumored to be the sword which the Norse hero Sigurd used to slay the dragon Fafnir.

Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus and included this great sword as part of the shieldmaiden's arsenal.[1]

Description
Could this be the legendary dragon-slaying weapon that slew might Fafnir? Perhaps, although none could be found to verify the claim.

Behind the scenes

Gram, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, shares the same name as the blade from myth and is visually similar to the design of the saber Hadhafang used by the elf princess Arwen in the 2001 film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and her father Elrond in the 2012 film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
