Glory of the Law

The Glory of the Law was an Athenian trireme which sailed the Aegean Sea during the 5th century BCE.

History

One of the ships built under the command of the general Themistokles, the trireme took part in numerous naval battles against Persia during the Greco-Persian Wars. By the Peloponnesian War, the ship continued to function and terrorize the coastlines of Greece.[1]

Between 429 and 422 BCE the ship was eventually destroyed by the Adrestia, commanded by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
