Gentile Virginio Orsini (c. 1434 – 8 January 1497) was an Italian condottiero and a vassal of the Kingdom of Naples.

Virginio led the House of Orsini, supported by Bartolomeo d'Alviano, during its feud with Pope Alexander VI. However, the Pope's son, Cesare Borgia, eventually defeated the Orsini family.[1]

In 2012, Virginio was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[2]
