Gary Webb
Gary Webb (1955 – 2004) was an American author and investigative journalist[1] who stumbled onto classified Abstergo Industries secrets.
Biography
In November 2004, Gary met with a confidant to explain a recent discovery he had made. While doing research for his new book about the CIA's involvement in corporate dealings, Gary learned that the Bilderberg Group was a puppet for Abstergo Industries, a shadow corporation with no stock options and nothing above the boards. Gary revealed further that Abstergo's members had ties to other companies such as Coca-Cola, Kraft, and even Wall Street.[2]
Convinced that Abstergo was on their way to world domination, Gary told his friend that they even had people in the government. When asked what he would do with this information that he had just shared, Gary reminded his friend that his book would explain everything. Unfortunately, an Abstergo agent had tailed and eavesdropped on Webb. He relayed to headquarters that Webb knew too much and the security risk would need to be dealt with.[2] A month later, Webb was found dead in his home with two gunshots to the head. His death was later ruled a suicide.[1]
