French and Indian War

The French and Indian War was a military conflict between 1754 and 1763.It saw the colonial possessions of the British Empire and their Native American allies combat their French colonial counterpartand their own native allies. A theatre of the much wider Seven Years War, the conflict ended with the ceding of Canada and Florida to Britain and ensured the survival of the Thirteen Colonies.
