The French Bastard Sword was a heavy weapon obtainable by Ezio Auditore da Firenze during the 16th century. It could be purchased from any blacksmith, in Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed Revelations. (Once the player is far enough in the game)
Bartolomeo d'Alviano's famous sword "Bianca" is said to be a variation of the bastard sword and is in many sequences in AC2 and Brotherhood.
