François de la Serre was the Grand Master of the Templar Order during the late 18th century. He was the father of Élise de la Serre and adoptive father of the Assassin Arno Dorian.[1]

He was killed by his fellow Templars in a coup d'état, which was followed by a shift in power and core ideologies within the Order.[2]
