François Leclerc du Tremblay (1577 – 1638), also known as Père Joseph, was a French Capuchin friar, as well as a confidant and agent of Cardinal Richelieu.

In 1622, Joseph founded the Convent of the Daughters of Calvary in Paris, which served as the congregation of the Filles du Calvaire.[1]
