Flag

Flags have been scattered by members of the various factions throughout the Holy Land. There are different kinds of flags, each representing a different faction. Altaïr can collect these flags, to complete Additional Memories and attain Achievements.

Locations

The website Assassin's Creed Interactive Maps has maps for the Kingdom, Masyaf, and each separate district of Damascus, Acre, and Jerusalem with numbered markers for the locations of every flag as well as checklists for each map. When you mouse over a marker, a screen shot showing the flag pops up.

Achievements

Collecting all of the flags of a particular kind will, in the Xbox 360 version, give the player an Achievement.
