Felucca

A felucca (Arabic: فلوكة) is a traditional wooden sailboat of Egyptian origin used in the north Africa region, especially along the Nile, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, and in the Red Sea. Its rig consists of one or two lateen sails.[1]
They have been used throughout Egypt's millennia-long history as a staple form of water transportation.[1]
During the Battle of the Nile, the pharaoh Ptolemy XIII attempted to escape via a felucca, but was later attacked and killed by crocodiles.[2]
