Fayling

"Old" Mr. Fayling was Haytham Kenway's tutor during his childhood in London. He had bushy gray eyebrows and a habit of picking his nose.

When Edward Kenway began teaching his son to question what he was taught, and to reason morality and ethics for himself. Haytham challenged his tutor during Scriptures, earning a whack on the knuckles, so Edward added that it was best to sometimes keep one's thoughts to themselves and hide in plain sight.

He later attended Edward's funeral.
