Falkland Islands

The Falkland Islands is a British Overseas Territory archipelago in the South Atlantic Ocean. During the 19th century, the territory was advertised as holiday destination for people from the United Kingdom wishing to visit the colonies of the British Empire. The Pitcairn Islands were advertised as being "a fragment of Empire in a far flung corner of the world".
