Fairfax
Fairfax was an Anglo-Saxon thegn from the Kingdom of the Wessex who lived during the 9th century.
In the 870s, he, along with fellow thegns Landry and Tedmund, were among the candidates to be chosen by King Aelfred as the next ealdorman of Cent following the previous ealdorman's passing. Tedmund, however, was ultimately chosen as the next successor.[1]
