Eve was a member of the human race created by the First Civilization.

Adam and Eve were the first hybird humans created by the First Civilization to preserve their DNA. This DNA passed down the Assassin bloodline. Whilst Desmond Miles contains Adam's half of the DNA sequence, the holder of Eve's half remains unknown.

Since Adam and Eve contained First Civilization DNA, they did not have the neurotransmitter in their brains that normal humans did, and were unaffected by the effects of the First Civilization's "Pieces of Eden." Adam and Eve stole an "Apple of Eden," and attempted to escape Eden, only to be stopped by an unknown force.
