Estates-General of 1789
The Estates-General of 1789 was the first time that the Estates-General was called by the French king since 1614. King Louis XVI of France called the meeting to discuss the economic problems of France, whose people were starving due to the Little Ice Age's destruction of crops and the plotting ot the Templar Order. From May to June, the Estates-General met many times, but failed to reach any of their goals, and in June 1789 a revolutionary National Assembly was formed.
During the Estates-General meeting on 5 May 1789, Arno Dorian fought with the brothers Hugo and Victor over a watch that he stole from Victor, and was able to defeat the two of them. Shortly after the meeting, Francois de la Serre was assassinated before Arno could deliver a warning letter (which he had received before the meeting) to him.
