The Dublin Champion Armor was a piece of armor that the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan retrieved in late 9th century Ulster, Ireland. Alongside the Dublin Champion Armor, Eivor acquired the rest of its set from her travels in Ireland.
During her time in Ireland, Eivor traveled to the location, the Giant's Causeway, and searched around the area. Finding a number of bodies along the ground, Eivor overheard a murmuring voice. Nearing closer, Eivor heard a woman ranting at one of the corpses, who happened to die in battle from her. Eivor approached the woman and talked to her. Introducing herself as Blud the Giant, the Viking dictated her life story as one of Thorgest's drengr and how she longed for a glorious death. Seeing her pain, Eivor agreed to fight Blud, who readied for their battle. After their fight, Eivor proved victorious and sent Blud off to Valhalla. Afterwards, Eivor gained the Dublin Champion Armor from Blud's personal effects.[1]
