e Dome of the Rock is an Islamic shrine and a major landmark located in the city of Jerusalem. It appears in Assassin's Creed and is located in the rich district of the city. It was built between 689 and 691 AD.

Trivia

  • Even though the dome is golden as it appears in Assassin's Creed, it was in reality gilded for the first time in 1963. During the Third Crusade it was actually made of black lead.
