Ajay was a member of the Indian Assassins and the custodian of the Assassin headquarters under Amritsar, the Darkness.

In 1860, after Jayadeep Mir failed to kill a target in what was perceived as a display of dangerous incompetence, Ajay also became his jailor until his planed execution.
