The de la Serre estate was the residence of the De la Serre family, located in northern Le Marais, Paris.

History

On the 14th of July 1789, Élise de la Serre joined the people storming the Bastille, desperate to reach the estate in time, Élise ran amongst the chaos and found her house ransacked by looters. She told the remaining servants and butlers to go someplace safe while she checked her important belongings. Élise found two men named Hook and Harvey, who were hired by the Carrolls to eliminate her, but managed to kill them with a distraction from Ruddock. Ruddock told her that he had found the man who hired him, known as the Roi des Thunes.[1]

But was greeted with accusations of involvement in her father's murder. Realizing that his negligence inadvertently caused François' death, Arno left the mansion.[2]

Later the same year on the 1st of April 1791, the After successfully infiltrating the hotel where the Jacobin Club organized a meeting, Arno eavesdropped on a secret meeting of a group of Templars who were plotting to eliminate Élise.[3] Having heard this Arno made his way swiftly to the de la Serre estate, breaking the door open he didnt find Élise inside and instead went to the Hôtel Voysin where he later saved Élise.[4]
