Jarl of Ravensthorpe
Sigurd Styrbjornsson was born 842 as the son of King Styrbjorn of Fornburg. During Kjotve's assault on his home he fought to protect both Eivor and the village, and attempted to get a young Eivor to safety. After the attack, Sigurd's father adopted Eivor, making Sigurd their older brother.
Years later Sigurd went on to marry Randvi, though the two would hardly see each other due to Sigurd's thirst for adventure and combat. He would often leave for many months at a time to lead raids and secure resources for the Raven Clan. As a result, Sigurd became a well traveled warrior with many a tale to tell.
Sigurd Styrbjornsson was both an older brother and mentor to Eivor. After the founding of Ravensthorpe he became the Jarl of the village and continued to lead his friends and family in Southern England.
