Nikolaï chased the Imperial train and infiltrated it. After killing several patrolling guards and extorting information from one of them, he made his way to the Imperial carriage and attacked, but was surprised to face the Tsar's entire family, when he had been told that his target would be alone. Alexander III appeared and defended his own. Nikolaï managed to wound Alexander, but the formidable Templar was far from defeated. In the fight, the train got off the tracks and crashed. Orelov, left alive by Alexander, a far superior fighter, had to flee.
