A young orphan, Jasib survived the streets of Baghdad by picking the pockets of its citizenry. Hopeful and eager, he took great pride in his budding talent as a craftsman and was confident that his ingenuity would get him out of scrapes. Jasib admired Basim greatly, and was always eager to show him his latest creation.
