Corruption
Corruption is a new game mode in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.[1]
The match is divided into three rounds. At the start of each round, one or two players are chosen to be 'corrupted', and all take on the persona of the Count. The other players are spawned in as the persona they selected at the start of the game. When "corrupted," your objective is to find and kill your targets as quickly as possible in order to spread your corruption. Whenever a non-corrupted is killed, they become corrupted and join the other team. When uncorrupted, you must hide to survive as long as possible. Performing quality kills as corrupted will earn you points, while non-corrupted earn points by surviving for as long as possible, and by being in the proximity of a corrupted. The more players are corrupted, the more points the uncorrupted earn for surviving. When there is only one uncorrupted remaining, a 'sudden death' mode is triggered. The clock is set to one minute, and the last uncorrupted earns extra points for surviving, with eeven more if they survive the entire minute, although this is quite hard to pull off. Even though the players are divided into teams, this is not a team game. Whichever player earns the most points wins.
