Conchobar mac Taidg Mór (died 882) was a King of Connacht from the Uí Briúin branch of the Connachta.

Biography

In 882, after Abbot Eogan mac Cartaigh had been unveiled as a pagan conspirator and Ollamh Druid of the cult known as the Children of Danu, Conchobar and the other kings summoned High King Flann Sinna to discuss implementing a Druid inquisition. During the meeting, Flann made a decision for any druid to either reform or become exiled from Ireland, much to Ciara's disapproval.[1]
