Chest Capture in Pienza.

Chest Capture, is a newly announced Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer mode.

Here, two teams comprised of three to four players each partner with fellow Templars to either defend or capture Chests. It is part of the 2nd DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. The protectors are unaware of where the chests are, unless a protector is within the a certain range of the chest, however the compass still leads the protectors to the hunters, not unlike in manhunt. However when within a certain range of the chest your compass gets "De-synchronized" and you are forced to use your observation skills to decide who is a hunter and who isn't. However the detection meter still glows when targets are in sight and you will be able to hear their heart beat. The hunters are aware of where all three chests are at all times, and must stand inside of a circle around the chest to capture it, the more hunters in the circle the faster the capture. Also the circle extends upwards a bit and goes through walls, so captures from roof-tops and inside of chase-breaker alley-ways and hay stacks are possible, chests can also be captured by standing above or below the chests plane . The defenders are also able to stun the protectors. When all three chests are captured three new ones are spawned, in usually different locations. Chest Capture can be played in the Mont Saint-Michel map upon playing this mode while DLC 3.0 is enabled.
