Charlotte d'Albret (1480 – 11 March 1514), Dâme de Châlus and Duchess of Valence, was a wealthy French noblewoman who lived in Rome during its liberation. She was also the lover of the pope's son, Cesare Borgia, and together they had a daughter. However, when Cesare became infected with the French Disease, Charlotte and her daughter left Cesare.
After the death of Rodrigo Borgia and the imprisonment Cesare, the Assassins Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Niccolò Machiavelli visited Charlotte in an attempt to find either Cesare or Micheletto Corella. However, Charlotte explained to them she didn't have or desire any contact with either of them. She had decided to leave Rome and travel back to France.
