Castra Pyramis was a Roman military camp in Arsinoe on the Sinai.

In 38 BCE, the camp was visited by the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa, who eliminated the guards and looted the valuables.

Behind the scenes

The word Castra is Latin in origin. It is the plural form of castrum, meaning a building or plot of land used as a fortified military camp. Pyramis is a Latin word derived from the Ancient Greek word puramís (πυραμίς), meaning a pyramid.
