Captain Octopus was an Animus mod avatar available for use by Layla Hassan within the Animus HR-8.5 simulation of Kassandra's genetic memories. This avatar could be used as a lieutenant aboard the Adrestia.[1]

- The appearance of the avatar may be a reference to Davy Jones of Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
