Cambodia, officially the Kingdom of Cambodia, is a country in Southeast Asia, bordering Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.[1]
In 1524, a group of Assassins from Italy was tasked with stopping a renegade former member that had been terrorizing the local people along the Mekong delta,[2] then part of Cambodia. Aided by Shao Jun, the expedition members braved the Khmer Kingdom's jungles and explored villages and temples along the river[3] before being able to stop their adversary and destroy their Apple of Eden,[4] an artifact that had been warping and corrupting the very land, its fauna and its flora.[5]
