Burk

Burk was a 9th century Norse man from Jorvik, Eurvicscire.

In the 870s, Burk blinded an Anglo-Saxon worker Chad and accused him of theft. Afterwards, Chad ran as Burk went looking for him. He then found Chad, who was assisted by Viking Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, atop a bridge. Despite Chad's pleas against working for him, Burk ordered his men to take Chad and thanked Eivor for her help. However, while Chad was taken, Eivor killed Burk's men while Burk ran away.
