Burial Delving

The Burial Delving was an abandoned campsite northwest of the Apis Stone Circle in the Isolated Desert of Egypt.
History
The campsite originally belonged to a group of adventures who came seeking to uncover the fate of the Lost Army of Cambyses. After uncovering numerous bones and weapons, the adventurers sought to continue digging, but the treacherous environment led them to eventually abandon the site after a few months. After their depature, a pack of hyenas took over and made it their den.[1]
During the mid 1st century BCE, the site was eventually discovered by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, who eliminated the hyenas and claimed the valuables that had been left over. he also recovered a papyrus left behind by the adventures detailing their search.[1]
