Boston Light
Template:WPlocations The Boston Light was a lighthouse located in the Boston Frontier. It was the first lighthouse to be erected in North America.
The lighthouse was originally built so that it could the ships into the Boston harbour at nightfall. When the revolutionaries sieged Boston they attacked and burned the building. It was repaired, but then burned down again.
When the British left Boston harbour in 1776, they blew up the entire lighthouse. A new lighthouse was built in 1783, and it still stands today.
