The Black Ship was the personal ship of the famous pirate Henry Morgan during the 17th century. At some point, it sank off the coast of Black Island with a full load of equipment. Pirate Edward Kenway explored the island and recovered several of Morgan's possessions, including the ship's sails and figurehead.[1]
