The Most Reverent Horace Ravenscroft spend much of his life in the West Indies as a missionary. A Catholic from a Protestant nation, he left in search of a land where he could peacefully tend to his own parish and help spread his faith. As a young priest he became well known for his willingness to interact with locals without pomp or ceremony. Over the years he worked his way up within the Church heirarchy until reaching the rank of Bishop.

With the steady influx of travelers into Kingston and the surrounding area, Bishop Ravenscroft found himself caught up in a growing conflict with the largely Protestant population who were intent on driving Catholics out.
