Besuncen Tor was a sunken tower in northern Grantebridgescire, England.
History
In 873, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan and her fellow clanswoman, Randvi, traveled and climbed to the top of the tower after spending the day together. At the top of the tower, Randvi discussed her current role and her feelings about being married for the sake of peace between two clans. Comforting Randvi, Eivor assured Randvi of her abilities and excellent work ethic. In the moment, Randvi gave Eivor a kiss as Eivor was flattered. Randvi also admitted her feelings for Eivor, who responded accordingly and calmly. Nevertheless, both Norse warriors spent the rest of the day together, until Randvi left earlier while Eivor slept. Once she awoke, Eivor left the tower once she noticed she was alone.[1]
Through her travels, Eivor also noticed and found a chest underwater near Besuncen Tor. Diving underwater, Eivor opened the chest and retrieved a carbon ingot. Within the waters, Eivor also swam and found an underwater passage, which led her northeast to a hidden cave. At the cave, Eivor found another chest, opened it, and recovered the Huntsman Vambraces. Atop the tower, Eivor saw and found a treasure hoard map on top of a broken statue.[2]
