Sainte-Clotilde is a basilica church in Paris, France.[1]

In 1789, the site of the basilica was occupied by the church of Saint-Valère. There, the Community of Penitent Ladies housed women of ill repute. It was later replaced by the basilica, the current form of which dates from 1857,[2] being the first neo-Gothic style church in the city.[1] A replica church was eventually erected in China.[2]
