It's way shorter than previous installments, true. I also hated the bit after Yusuf's death when Ezio literally goes "You, generic assassin number 3, Yusuf thought highly of you, keep this place from falling apart."

Also, there weren't really anything new in those supposed "revelations". We knew already that first civilization got wiped by a solar flare, that they had temples scattered about, etc. Only new thing was that Ezio chickened from continuing with his life as an assassin and didn't take the Masyaf Apple, which allowed Abstergo to get hold of it.
