I know it's not in the criteria, but I thought I should include:

  • Possible Assassination Targets - Engelbert Dolfuss, who was killed during the failed Anschluss with Austria; Georges Clemenceau, who died in France (as an enemy of the French) in 1929; General von Ludendorf, who died in 1937 as an enemy of Hitler; Ernst Rohm, who's death seems particularly like a conspiracy; as well as Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, who were killed after the Spartacist Uprising.
