Kind of... With DRM on Assassin's Creed, you'll have to confirm your game when you install it, then confirm it like every 10 days. You can do it at any intervals, but it was 10 days with Assassin's Creed II I believe. I also heard that a couple E.A games installed a rootkit onto your computer without your knowledge, and remained to monitor your computer and mess with your computer if you have a ' pirated ' game, which didn't work out because sometimes it can't distinguish between genuine and fake.

And that's why me and my friends quit playing computer games, if companies do crap like that, I just won't play their games.
