Thanks for the compliment. People usually assume I don't know what I'm talking about because I look kinda young. But I'm smart! I was always helping students in class after I finished my work when I was in school. But anyway, yeah I'll just reverse the brain train and guess she ran off with the Natives for refuge. They sometimes sympathized with runaways because their enemies (mainly white settlers) were one in the same. I could see Aveline joining the Assassins, yes, to fight the Templars and also to stand against slavery. Joining the order also gives her the opportunity to look for her mother, which may be a major part of her story. She may find out her father sold her mother into slavery. -GASP- Happened all the time, except some were born slaves, then impregnated by their master, not their husband, then sold. Being a woman of color must have been hard back then. You escape the bear only to get bit by the viper. I think I'm gonna have some ice cream to lighten my mood. Kidding. ^^
