Ok, Sima, I was not saying that the templars will oppress people once they are in control, nor do they do it in the 21st century. I was mainly refering to the way they were treated, for example, in the crusades (AC1). The people were starved, murdered & enslaved. This was all for the benefit of the templars.

And after the chain, can you understand why some people still view the assassins as saints? In reality, the assassins were ignorant assholes.
