User blog comment:The Leaping Eagle/What would you have liked in Revelations?/@comment-4829046-20120621110954
OK first off, I'd like to say that I was EXTREMELY satisfied with Revelations and how short it was(honestly! I loved it! It was a great game considering how much time they had to make it)
Like I said before the BEST thing about ACR for me was that it was short and easy unlike ACB so I was pretty happy that all the missions were fail/50% sync proof.
This game would have been nothing special if they made it as long as ACB(I hate it when a game takes so long to finish) so it was a good thing. I mean seriously! If ACII, ACB AND ACR were long then what would be the point? AC II was an introduction to Ezio, ACB was a continuation to the story and ACR was a whole new story created ONLY to finish up the Desmond coma part. Please bear in mind that Desmond was FORCED to view those memories in order to fix his condition so it wouldn't matter if it was short since not all of this story was relavent.
On the topic of side quests I will make my points here instead of replying under another comment to make it simpler. I love random and non story related missions but I never expected that an NPC would just randomly tell me to carry some boxes. I was like "Oooh I wonder what he'll give me" then after my hard work he gives BOMB PIECES!!!! -_- Bomb pieces are useless for a guy like me since I rarely use bombs unless I'm doing a stealth mission and ALSO because there a MANY other ways to get bomb pieces. I was very dissapointed when I found that there were only 3 new random events in the game(the boxes, the tough guy and the stalkers) The stalkers were a nice addition in my opinion since it kept me on my guard and I alwasys had to climb a building before I went AFK to do something else.
Forget all the above what I would had liked best would be more missions where you had to avoid being seen and avoid killing people. That kind of misssion would have made it SUUUUUUPER HARD and ensured that noobs don't finish it too quickly.
