Agreed. Well technically it is hard when the mechanics fail to work but otherwise once you get used to it and know all the secrets its rather easy. And well, technically ACIV bullets were okay. If you didn't shoot the head, it resulted in a body shot that wouldn't kill and that's precisely what happens IRL though I'm not sure whether you can do heart-shots in it. It was silly though how the tougher opponents in AC3(and IV I think) could survive bullet shots that kill normal opponents without even wearing armour or bullet-proof vests. And swords should injure even if they don't kill. In AC3 and ACIV, you slice them up so much but they lack health and show no change in fighting style despite having so many cuts and bruises. At least in the previous ones, enemies show more visible signs that they were weakening.

I think you need to play Thief game series. In that, stealth takes priority and combat isn't really there. Basically if you mess up on being stealthy, you are f***ed and can't go all rambo.
