1. Assassin's Creed II 2. Grand Theft Auto V 3. FIFA 12 4. Halo 3 5. Call of Duty: World at War 6. Portal 2 7. Minecraft 8. Fable II 9. Mirror's Edge 10. Battlefield: Bad Company 2

I know you couldn't do this on the IGN site, but it was hard excluding these, so honorable mentions to: - Trials Evolution - Far Cry 3 - Mario Kart Wii - Just Cause 2 - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Keep in mind these aren't particularly the BEST games around (although some clearly are masterpieces, see GTA V), but more they're the games from this generation that I have the best / most fun memories of playing, FIFA and Halo in particular.
