@Outsider Lots of people wish for that kind of scenario (no animus) but I actually like the modern day aspect, what with all the conspiracies surrounding Abstergo, the PoEs, etc. So if I had my way, Connor's extra games would be released a la ACII: Liberation (i.e. Abstergo propaganda), or with a new descendent of Connor (like how Clay and Desmond are both descendents of Ezio).

I personally would love to see a handheld continuation of Connor, like Bloodlines and Altair's Chronicles (OK, I know Al's Crhonichles was a prequel, but you get my point).
