That would be because while Jesper Kyd maintained the same level of awesome with his tracks as the past games, Balfe's tracks in revelations were all basically the same - they were just variations of the game's main theme. He did a good job on the CGI outro music, gotta give him that one.

Still I am baffled why they didn't bring Kyd along. If the game was in production since ACB, there was plenty of time to get him aboard before he moved into other projects. His music has done many games - look at how much better Darksiders 2 is compared to the first one with his OST.
