Water was only a great tactical advantage when sneaking onto ships in order to flank your target. Typically you'd want to climb up to the mast but.. hehe... it proves almost improbable. The only thing I can't understand is how those AI types didn't think to look over board when they heard a splash. I mean they couldn't be thinking "Oh, it was just a Dolphin!". I don't think Dolphins are native to Europe anyway...
