I had the idea of AC IV taking place during the Dutch Revolt and the Eighty Years war against Spain. The Spanish were catholic, and you know what comes with the package...

It would show the protagonist interact with William of Orange, battle the Spanish, and it would take place in ALL of the Netherlands, including what is now Belgium and Luxembourg. You would help Amsterdam and the Dutch Eastern Trading Company flourish, and aid in the various battles. You would also have to catch the killer of William of Orange, Balthasar Gerards, and bring him to justice. You wouldn't kill him, because that contradicts history.
