Ok, we know things now.

Desmond will move exactly like Connor - see that he doesn't have the "modern" walking style he used to, he walks with his arms a bit stretched out to the sides and the same gait as Connor.

Presumably the same will be for his freerunning abilities, which is good. I hated that he learned Ezio's abilities, but had Al's casual climbing.
