would you really call it tyranny, the guys that fouught for the crown were living under the same rule as the colonists, granted there were pompous pricks who had titles and who looked down on people below them, there still are thesedays aswell. why did they not feel like rising up? i feel tyranny used to happen in alot under the rule of many kings in england, i dont feel like george III was a tyrant, despite the wording in the declaration of independance. brits have always complained about the current monarch or government of their time, but it dosent always mean they were tyrants.
